Το e-Business and User Experience Lab του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου συμμετέχει στο Patras IQ 2026, μέσω της παρουσίας της Ειρήνης Ιωαννίδου, μέλους του εργαστηρίου, υποψήφιας διδάκτορα του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου και Managing Director της Vogrid, στην ειδική θεματική συνεδρία που διοργανώνει το Επιμελητήριο Αχαΐας: «Achaia Business & Innovation Showcase 2026 – Παρουσιάζοντας Βέλτιστες Πρακτικές & Επιτυχημένα Παραδείγματα» Στην εκδήλωση θα συμμετάσχει ένα δυναμικό πάνελ επιχειρήσεων-μελών του Επιμελητηρίου Αχαΐας που διακρίνονται για την καινοτομία και την εξωστρέφειά τους (Adamant, Brite-Solar, Coffeeco, Sammyacht, Liofyllo και Vogrid). Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνεδρίας θα παρουσιαστούν ευρωπαϊκές πρωτοβουλίες και έργα που υποστηρίζουν την επιχειρηματική καινοτομία, όπως τα προγράμματα Markato, Helix-Smart και Progress, ενώ θα ακολουθήσει συζήτηση με θέμα: «Αλλάζοντας τον τρόπο που επιχειρούμε στην Αχαΐα». Η συμμετοχή της Ειρήνης Ιωαννίδου αναδεικνύει τη διασύνδεση της ακαδημαϊκής έρευνας με την καινοτόμο επιχειρηματικότητα και τη συμβολή του e-Business and User Experience Lab στην ενίσχυση της περιφερειακής ανάπτυξης και της τεχνολογικής καινοτομίας.

Ένα ακόμη "τείχος" πέφτει. IEEE SB University of Peloponnese-Patras και IEEE SB University of Patras ενώνουν δυνάμεις για έναν παγκόσμιο event. Το IEEE xTreme -τον 18ο παγκόσμιο διαγωνισμό προγραμματισμού IEEEXtreme! Στις 26 Οκτωβρίου - 27 Οκτωβρίου για 24 ώρες γεμάτες προκλήσεις στο ΤΕΕ - Τμήμα Δυτικής Ελλάδας, Τριών Ναυάρχων 40. Δύο Πανεπιστήμια, δύο δυναμικές φοιτητικές ομάδες, ένας σκοπός... Σαν counselor του IEEE SB University of Peloponnese-Patras οφείλω να δώσω συγχαρητήρια στις πρωτοβουλίες αυτών των παιδιών.

Congratulations to Stefanos Balaskas for successfully defending his PhD Thesis in the University of Patras, on "Integrating Neuromarketing and Personality Trails in Diverse Marketing Strategies: From Social Change to Corporate Profit" . eBusiness and User Experience Lab wishes him to continue his successful path to research. eBusiness and User Experience Lab is a partner in Quahvet Ρroject. The challenge addressed by the project is to enhance the quality of guidance services in High VET education, increase awareness among High School guidance practitioners about HVET, and improve the competences of career guidance practitioners in quality-based cooperation. The project is designed to address several key challenges in the field of vocational education and training (VET). Firstly, it aims to enhance the quality of guidance services within the High VET sector. This involves improving the overall effectiveness and accessibility of guidance provided to students pursuing High VET pathways. Secondly, the project focuses on increasing awareness among High School guidance practitioners about High VET pathways. By ensuring that these practitioners have a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and benefits associated with High VET education, the project aims to better guide students towards suitable career paths within the VET sector. Last meeting of the successful Erasmus+ project STEAM-Active. The purposes of STEAM-Active project are to improve the capacity of the higher education educational offer in engineering of new learning and teaching methods; tackle engineering student underachievement and gender inequality; provide university lecturers with STEAM based methodological approaches and teaching tools; provide universities with consistent, re-usable and up-scalable teaching-Learning sequences based on the STEAM methods. The main project deliverables include: - A Protocol for Teachers that will illustrate the framework of the STEAM project design methodology with active teaching methodologies; - An E-learning based training course for engineering teachers that will include a theoretical description of STEAM approaches and of the implementation active methodologies; - A Collection of STEAM based Teaching-Learning Sequences that allow teachers to guide students in applying a project based learning methodology to solve socio-scientific-technological situations.

IMath - An Intelligent System to Learn Mathematics contributed in a new AI system that helps University students to improve their study in Maths and self assess their performance in order to achieve progress in the university. A nice work done with Ana Pereira and her team under the coordination of Pixel. eBusiness and User Experience Lab was one of the project partners.

Spiros Sirmakessis, Professor at the University of Peloponnese and Nikos Panos, Director of Technology in PwC Greece, emphasized the importance of such initiatives to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and market demand. We would like to extend our warmest thanks for such a collaboration creating value for the next generation of technology professionals.
