Two days of intense meeting on Regenerative Tourism in Spotorno starts today. Spiros Sirmakessis and Marios Katsis are in Italy for the Regenera4MED meeting. Regenera4MED is an EU-funded Interreg Euro-MED project designed to shift Mediterranean tourism beyond traditional sustainability into regenerative tourism. Running from April 2025 to December 2027, the project aims to restore ecosystems, support local communities, and preserve cultural heritage.
